Plenty social competition terms and conditions

  1. This competition “Place For Plenty” (the “Competition”) starts on Friday 5th April 2019 at 09:00 and ends Saturday 01st June 2019 at 23:59.
  2. The promoter and data controller of the Competition is: Essity, a company registered in England and Wales with number 3226403 and registered office at ESSITY UK LTD, Southfields Road, Dunstable, LU6 3EJ (the “Promoter” or “us”).
  3. This Competition is open to UK residents only (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), aged 18 years or over excluding employees and the immediate families’ employees of the Promoter, it’s affiliated companies, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition
  4. There will be one judging decision during the Competition period stated under section one above, to select one winner.
  5. Entry to the Competition is exclusively via the Plenty UK Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/plenty_uk/. The Competition will be advertised on Plenty UK Instagram page and supported with paid investment.
  6. To enter the Competition, each entrant must upload a photograph including the hashtag #PlaceForPlenty and the handle @Plenty_UK, referenced in the caption. The photograph must feature a decorated area of the home where you might feature a pack of Plenty Handy Towels, judged on following criteria:
    • Use of lighting
    • Composition
    • Relevance of position for Handy Towels
  7. Instagram profiles must be set to public in order for the judges to view their entry.
  8. Entrants can enter up to three times but must upload a different photo with each entry. The first three entries submitted will be registered.
  9. The Promoter will remove any entries they consider to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, offensive, cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others.
  10. The Promoter will not tolerate any posts or comments which are bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other entrants and followers of the Promoter or directly aimed at the Promoter. Any posts or comments deemed to be any of the above will be deleted.
  11. All entries must be the entrants’ own work and they cannot submit a photo downloaded from the internet or subject to any third-party rights or claim.
  12. The prize, as stated below, is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives, credit, or voucher in whole or in part.
  13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach us by Saturday 01st June 23:59 for any reason.
  14. By entering the Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  15. The winner’s surname and county will be published on the Plenty UK website once the prize has been claimed. Winners will have the option of opting out and can do so by contacting Plenty in response to the email confirming their win.
  16. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be passed to a third party unless for the purpose of fulfilment of the prize, without the entrant's consent.
  17. Entrants authorise Plenty to use their personal details for the purposes of administering the Competition solely and in accordance with Plenty; full details of our Privacy Policy can be found here.
  18. Although this Competition will be advertised on Instagram, this promotional offer is in no way endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram.
  19. The one winner of the Competition will be chosen by a representative of Plenty and an independent adjudicator. The winner will be chosen based on meeting the requirements of uploading to a public profile including #PlaceForPlenty and tagging the Plenty UK Instagram page @Plenty_UK and will be awarded marks out of five for:
    • Use of lighting
    • Composition of shot
    • Relevance of set up
  20. Only one prize will be sent to the winner at the stated address.
  21. Details of the entry dates and available prize are as follows:
    One winner will be chosen on Friday 7th June 2019 and asked to contact Plenty UK via private message. The winner would be asked to check ‘message requests’ in their inbox. Only a private message from the same Instagram account that is notified as a winner will be accepted. The winner has until Wednesday 12th June to respond and must at that time provide their name, email address, home postal address and phone number. At that time if they have not made contact, Plenty will contact the first runner up.
  22. Prize includes:
    • £4000 worth of interiors vouchers sent by post or electronically;
    • A digital moodboard to be sent via email to the winner, in consultation with either No House Rules interiors collective or Rebecca Lawson of Malmo & Moss, as chosen by the winner;
    • Two Skype consultations with the winner and Katie Woods and Amy Wilson of ‘No House Rules’ interior collective or Rebecca Lawson of Malmo & Moss, to last approximately 60 minutes each;
    • Eight packs of Plenty Handy Towels in mixed designs.
  23. Prize to be delivered within one month of response from winner acknowledging win.
  24. Prize is subject to availability. In the event that a prize cannot be sourced, or in the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
  25. The prize excludes anything not expressly listed above.
  26. The interiors vouchers will be sourced by the Promoter once the winner is announced and require no prior consultation with the winner.
  27. The Promoter shall have no responsibility or liability for late delivery of the prize or if the prize is misplaced in the post, however all efforts will be made to avoid causing unnecessary disappointment and ensure the winner has a positive winning experience.
  28. The Promoter shall not be liable for any issues whatsoever with respect to the prize once dispatched to the winner.
  29. We reserve the right to verify the winner and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions. Prizes will be delivered via Royal Mail registered delivery or signed for courier service to the address provided by the winner. Fulfilment of the prizes and related communications will be carried out by the Promoter.
  30. Limitations of liability: Neither the Promoter, its Agents or anyone professionally connected to the Competition, assume any responsibility or liability for: any incorrect or inaccurate personal data entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regards to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion. Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the Instagram page or any combination thereof.
  31. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this Competition in exceptional circumstances unpredictable and outside its control.
  32. Terms are governed by the law of England and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them.
